Bloody Mary: «Η Μαρία Α' Τυδώρ (αγγλικά: Mary I, 18 Φεβρουαρίου 1516 - 17 Νοεμβρίου 1558), ήταν Βασίλισσα της Αγγλίας και της Ιρλανδίας από τις 19 Ιουλίου 1553 μέχρι τον θάνατό της.
Η τέταρτη (4η) εστεμμένη μονάρχης της Δυναστείας των Τυδώρ, έμεινε γνωστή για την αναστήλωση του Ρωμαιοκαθολικισμού στην Αγγλία αφού διαδέχτηκε τον ετεροθαλή αδελφό της, Εδουάρδο ΣΤ', στο θρόνο.
Κατά την βασιλεία της διέταξε το κάψιμο στην πυρά περίπου τριακοσίων αντιφρονούντων, κερδίζοντας το προσωνύμιο "Bloody Mary" (Αιμοσταγής Μαρία). Η προσπάθειά της για την αναβίωση του Καθολικισμού στην χώρα ανατράπηκε από την διάδοχό της, Ελισάβετ Α'.»
